I'm still reeling from the awesome ride that is HEIRS OF THE BLADE! I mean, who doesn't love a good dose of samurai action, ghostly encounters, and monster mash-ups? And let me tell you, this book delivers. The real draw for me was Tynisa's character development - finally getting to see her confront her past and all the emotions that come with it was so satisfying. Che's help is just the cherry on top (or should I say, katana on the handle?). Their dynamic is still one of my favorite aspects of this series. What really impressed me about HEIRS OF THE BLADE was how seamlessly it continues the story from the previous book. No awkward jumps or dropped plot threads - it's like the author knew exactly where to pick up and run with things. And let's not forget those world-building moments! The sheer diversity of creatures, mythologies, and cultures woven throughout this narrative is simply staggering. If you're already a fan of the series, you'll devour this installment; if you're new to the franchise, I say jump right in - it won't disappoint!

Original Micro-Review: "Accidentally bought two Broken Binding editions of this. Anyone want to buy the other off me? Fantastic continuation of the story where Tynisa confronts her past and Che helps. Samurai, ghosts, monsters. It's got it all. ⭐⭐⭐⭐"
