// EXPANDED CRITIQUE

I'm still reeling from the conclusion of AN AUTUMN WAR - Daniel Abraham really knows how to bring the heat! The third installment in this series is a masterclass in tension-building, as the stakes are higher than ever and the characters are more complex than a Rubik's Cube. I mean, we're talking about some seriously morally ambiguous individuals making some pretty questionable decisions, all while navigating the chaos of war. And let me tell you, it was a wild ride from start to finish. The real magic happens when Abraham drops the bombshell ending - I won't lie, I did not see it coming! It's those kinds of twists that keep you hooked and desperate for more. The fact that Book 4 is already on my radar says a lot about how invested I am in these characters' stories. Overall, AN AUTUMN WAR is an absolute thrill ride that will leave you breathless and begging for the next installment.

Original Micro-Review: "Book 3 was dope. This time it has all-out war, with highly complex characters and backstabbing and intrigue and... well, let's just say I didn't see the end coming. Can't wait to dive into Book 4! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"
