I just couldn't even with this book, you know? It was like Dr. Ricken Lazlo Hale, PhD took all the worst parts of self-help and spiritualism and mashed them together into a mess that left me feeling utterly confused and annoyed. The writing itself wasn't terrible, but the ideas and concepts were so convoluted and contradictory that I found myself rolling my eyes more times than I can count. It's like he was trying to cram way too much spirituality and pseudo-science into these 200 pages or something. And don't even get me started on the actual content - it was like a never-ending stream of vague affirmations, mystical mumbo-jumbo, and overused buzzwords. I mean, I've heard more profound insights from Hallmark greeting cards. By the end of it, I just wanted to throw my phone out the window and demand that someone give me 30 minutes back in my life (see what I did there?). Needless to say, I won't be recommending this one anytime soon - or ever, for that matter.
