I'm so glad I took a chance on THE WILL OF THE MANY, because it exceeded my expectations in every way! As soon as I started reading, I was hooked - the world-building was top-notch, with a rich history and politics that added depth to the story. The characters were complex and well-developed, with motivations that made sense and drove the plot forward. And let's not forget the action scenes - intense and suspenseful, they kept me on the edge of my seat!
What really impressed me was how the author balanced the epic scope of the world with intimate character moments. I loved seeing the characters grow and evolve as the story progressed, and the relationships between them felt genuine and nuanced. It's clear that Islington put a lot of thought into crafting this world and its inhabitants, and it shows in every page. If you're looking for a compelling and engaging read that will keep you turning the pages until the very end, THE WILL OF THE MANY is an absolute must-read!
Original Micro-Review: "I picked this up because it was highly rated across the board, and this did NOT disappoint. It definitely has some Red Rising Book 1 meets Sun Eater book 1 vibes (must be a trend?), but it is its own awesomeness. Must read! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"
