Book Cover: THE LIAR'S KNOT

// EXPANDED CRITIQUE

I'm glad I decided to stick with THE LIAR'S KNOT - it really won me over this time around! What I loved most was how the primary characters are finally getting some serious development. The authors did a great job of adding more layers to their personalities and motivations, making them feel even more real. It's like they're finally letting us in on all their secrets. And let's not forget about the magic - it's getting some serious attention too! I loved how Carrick expanded on the world-building and mythology, giving us a glimpse into the mysteries that lie beneath the surface. It's no wonder I was hooked from start to finish. The new characters they introduced were also a nice touch, adding some fresh perspectives to the story. Overall, THE LIAR'S KNOT is a solid step up from book one - definitely recommended if you're looking for a compelling fantasy series!

Original Micro-Review: "I enjoyed this one a bit more than book one! Few new characters, but the primary characters are getting deeper and more nuanced. The magic expands a bit, too, which is dope. ⭐⭐⭐⭐"
