THE CITY OF LAST CHANCES

This took probably a third of the way in before I really understood what was happening, but I thought it ended very well. Not Tchaikovksy's strongest work, in my opinion, but the city itself and the characters and the worldbuilding were so fascinating. The first of five books! I'm interested in seeing where this goes.
